Delta del Po

Navigation starts with the open sea, the beaches of Lidi di Comacchio and  the big mussels farm.

After about an hour the long outline of the Scanno di Goro , a narrow sandy coast created by the river, appears on the horizon.

The entrance to the natural park offers a beautiful view that is unique in its genre:  herons, egrets, coots and hawks of the marshland will accompany us inside the narrow canals surrounded by reeds.    

 Our motor-ship navigates on the main branches of the Po di Goro and Po di Gnocca, and when they are accessible, the Sacca di Goro and the Chiusa di Gorino . The port of Gorino is a real tourist attraction thanks to the atmosphere of days gone by and the  coming and going of small boats that are out to catch fish, crabs, and shellfish.

The exploration of the natural park will culminate in a stop on the  Isola dell’ Amore (Island of Love) near the Goro lighthouse, where you may want to go for a walk on the beach, take photographs or perhaps go swimming.

The trip then continues until it reaches a calm lagoon where lunch will be served, but not before visiting the   Sacca degli Scardovari  and getting to know its history.

On the way back to Porto Garibaldi the trip comes to end with the special sight of the seagulls, which we are sure will remain one of your most pleasant memories of this wonderful day out.
